Helio sound insulating curtains

We can make curtains up to 280 cm wide. If you need it wider than this, ask for a velcro. This way you can easily put the curtains together. They will also be easier to clean.

Size: 140cm is the width of the fabric, if you order wider than that we will sew it to the 140cm fabric.

The sewing of the curtains is not an extra cost!

Each  curtain has a brown back. This type is our curtain with the most velvet effect.

Sizes:

The overall breadth of the soundproof curtain is 140cm. If you need a wider one, it can also be solved (by sewing together). So there will be one seam every 140 cm.
The length can be chosen by the customer. Don’t forget to measure the height of the cornice! It is very important to measure everything accurately, whether it is a window, a door, or a partition blackout curtain!

As usual for curtains, the curtains should be wider twice than the width of the window, but we recommend two and half times the breadth to make soundproofing more efficient.

Remember to measure and plan accurately! So the result will be as you imagined.

Do not send us the sizes of your window, or door, we only need the sizes of the curtain you want!

Paste mount:

The Helio soundproof curtain can also be hung with tweezers, curtain heading tapes, or possibly a ring/a grommet. We charge extra for rings/grommets!

Note that the soundproof fabrics are heavy and dense, so think about what size blackout curtain you want to place and also where!

Tweezers: the traditional mount (we just use nails to hang the fabric)

These mustn’t be traditional materials! They are thick and much denser, therefore they have the best acoustic, thermal insulated, noise reducing, and soundproof properties. So, it is important to design and weigh where we want to place the drapes! Soundproof drapes are easy to install.

Calculation of sizes of the soundproof curtains:

Their width is uniformly 140cm, count around 2-2cm due to the hem! If you want a blackout curtain wider than 140 cm, an additional 5 cm must be counted every 140 cm. The cornice “hide” of the sound-absorbing curtain is about 8-10 cm more. For individual needs, send an e-mail!

Think through all the details before ordering, because we cannot replace or take back the curtain that has already been made!

A few words about acoustics

Soundproof property:

Acoustics is a complex discipline. We’d like to explain it briefly and simply why it is so important. If we are in an empty room the sound is very echoing and unpleasant. Everyone has experienced this before. (Many people think that at this point it is enough to stick a pile of “egg cups” in the room! That’s not true! Don’t believe everything !!) Details

1. Each curtain is made based on an individual order, therefore each curtain is considered unique, and we cannot buy it back!

2. The weight of the curtains refers to the flow meter of the material: 1 flow meter is 140 cm and weighs 820 grams. (+/- 20-30% weight deviation possible!)

3. Acoustic curtains can only absorb 10-20 decibels of sound if they are placed completely without gaps or if the acoustics of the given room is adequate! Due to the resulting problems/complaints, we cannot take back the curtains!

In the case of an individual curtain order, it is no longer possible to modify or cancel the order after the order and payment, because we cannot refund the price!

There may be minimal colour variation between the curtains and cushion covers ordered.

The colour of a new order may differ from the previous order.

Products can be produced with a +-1-2% variation.
