What is an acoustic panel with diffuser?
It is a classic acoustic item on which a diffuser face plate is installed. With the help of its face plate designed upon precise mathematical calculations Perfect Acoustic can absorb certain part of the frequency range while it can also reflect some other frequencies at the same time.
But why is this 2 in 1 feature beneficial? Acoustic panel with diffuser absorbs more low frequency – below 300Hz – but less high frequency – above 600Hz – compared to broadband absorbers. In that way it ensures that high frequencies won’t be overdamped in the room.
Thanks to the diffusing face plate installed on the acoustic panel the sound can move more freely through the slots thus it has also a reflecting and scattering impact.
What sort of materials are Perfect Acoustic’s acoustic panels with diffuser made of?
The massive and sturdy wood frame is filled with high density, 90kg/m3 acoustic wool since deep bass can only be mitigated properly by high density, fibrous absorbing material or a membrane.
(Foam, styrofoam and acoustic foam are not suitable for this) We use non-toxic acoustic wool, the maximum safety is ensured by the dust emission inhibitor acoustic velvet cover.
We install on it the diffusive, compressed wood face plate designed by us.
For the sake of easier installation, we provide the back of the panels with pre-drilled holes.
