1. Why do we need a Decorative panels?
Printed acoustic panels are identical to broadband acoustic panels.
During acoustic treatments we use this acoustic element in most cases since they dampen the unwanted sound waves in the full bandwidth – from 40Hz to 20,000Hz. Printed panels effectively reduce echo and the reverberation time of the room. We developed our panels with a goal to absorb more bass and less high frequency.
2. What sort of materials are our acoustic absorbers made of?
As a first step of the production we build a sturdy wood frame and we fill it with high specific weight (90kg/m3) acoustic wool which ensures perfect bass absorption. We cover it with dust emission inhibiting acoustic velvet, then we place the outer cover: the photo of your choice printed on the acoustic velvet.
For the sake of easier installation, we provide the panels with pre-drilled holes.
3. Sound absorbers as home furnishing item
Sound absorbers not only help to achieve the perfect sound experience but they can even be the decoration of your home. You can choose from the printed panels we have on stock but we always find a solution for your specific needs. Send us your favourite photo and we prepare the printed acoustic panel with your photo. Printed acoustic velvet can be washed, easily cleaned and they won’t get faded as time passes.
4. Impact of our Sound absorbers
Acoustic panels can effectively reduce echo and the reverberation time of the room.
We get a more relaxed, cleaner, more balanced sound.
In more detail:
You can choose from 50 types of prints for our printed elements, but you can also order them with your own photo. Our customers can expect perfect photo quality. If you want to request with your own image, make sure that the selected photos are uploaded in the highest resolution, in very good quality. The printed acoustic elements are coated with acoustic silk, which has anti-dusting properties, is flexible and has high tensile strength, on which the photo print is printed. As a result of the pressing, the colorant only gets inside the material, thus it remains breathable and its sound absorption capacity is not reduced.
The rigid wooden frame contains high-density acoustic cotton, which is completely harmless to health and, due to its dense, flexible structure, has excellent sound absorption.
Our products are handmade and we test them regularly. We use only premium quality raw materials to produce our acoustic elements. The wooden frame is made of pine. Pine is a hardwood that has an extremely high sound absorption capacity! Available in painted or natural versions.
If style is important:
Thanks to our printed acoustic elements and individual prints, they can be decorative interior accessories for any style of room. Almost everyone has their favorite movies, beloved stars that many are fond of and therefore often put up on their walls in the form of a poster. Some people like to admire stunning photos of world cities, or even pictures of beautiful instruments. Our printed elements, in addition to effectively contributing to the acoustics of the rooms, we can adapt them to our own taste with the help of the unique design. In home theaters, sound-absorbing panels covered with a movie poster can be really stylish. In sound recording studios, acoustic elements decorated with images of musicians or musical instruments can contribute to the mood and theme.
Acoustic elements covered with printed images remain hidden, so they also function as decorative ornaments, like a beautiful mural or poster.
They attenuate unwanted sounds between 40 and 20,000 Hz. They retain their color for many years, do not wear out, do not fade. Easy to clean. They can also be fixed to the wall, but can also be ordered with folding legs. Place the printed panels at the primary reflection points. These points can be determined by acoustic examination.
Our printed corner elements are made specifically for handling corners. Deep tones accumulate in the corners in the greatest amount, so it is always advisable to start with the corners as a first step during acoustic repair.
Our printed elements can also be ordered in individual sizes.
Ideal acoustics can only be achieved by attenuating excessively accumulated bass sounds. Otherwise, disturbing echoes and reverberation will occur, which will degrade the quality of the sound material.
Bass attenuation remains hidden
The attenuation of bass sounds and the elimination of reflections significantly improve the surround sound of studios and home cinemas. Furniture and home furnishings can easily absorb higher frequency sounds, but they cannot handle deeper sounds. Only materials specially developed for acoustic purposes have sound absorption. Optimum results can be achieved with high-density, flexible materials. It is advisable to use our sound-absorbing panels in combination with diffuser elements in order to prevent over-attenuation.
We get a harmonious, even sound if we treat the room with the right equipment. Although styrofoam or other plastic sponge materials are cheaply available, they cannot absorb sounds effectively due to their cellular structure and are less showy. Let’s not waste our money and time on ineffective and ugly materials! You may want to consult an acoustician if you want to achieve a satisfactory result. By online or on-site acoustic measurements, we can determine exactly what kind of acoustic elements the room requires, and where it is recommended to place them.
The right acoustics should not be underestimated, as a pleasant sound has a positive effect on our mood and health!
