Why do we need a Sound absorbers?
Broadband acoustic panel are needed when the reverberation time (echo) is higher than the reference level in a certain room. In most cases we use this acoustic element since it can be applied in a wide variety of situations: It dampens the unwanted frequencies from 40Hz to 20,000Hz.
What is NOT a broadband panel in reality?
The small density materials – like foam, styrofoam, acoustic foam – or absorbing materials which don’t absorb sound waves evenly because of their small density are not suitable to function as a panel. These materials generally have an impact on higher frequencies only. When using such materials, we create a non-linear (uneven) acoustic environment: high frequencies become too dull, low frequencies won’t change.
What sort of materials are our broadband acoustic panels made of?
The maximum stability of our broadband panels is provided by the sturdy wood frame in which we fill controlled quality, non-toxic, 90kg/m3 density, special quality acoustic wool. We cover it with dust emission inhibitor and finally with acoustic velvet.
Broadband panel as home furnishing?
Acoustic elements can be drilled on the wall, however if we don’t like to do so or it is hard to achieve due to the structure of the wall, they can also stand stable on their own feet thanks to their precise design. The easy to clean elastic acoustic velvet which can be ordered in different colours renders a unique, aesthetic look to our panels.
What sort of effects can you expect with our acoustic panels?
At home theatres, when listening to music:
– reduced echo and reverberation,
– strong distortion of buzzing bass eliminated
– bass becoming more detailed and dynamic
In offices, flats, auditoriums:
– improved speech intelligibility
– lower crosstalk to neighbouring rooms
– more relaxed sound environment
